Stand for something or Fall for anything!


It's so hard not to let other peoples opinions cloud your judgement,
Some people are so persuasive.
To the point where,
you completely abandon your own thoughts on the matter,
and adopt some warped view of what "the truth" is.
The worst is when you're brain washed not only by you're own ignorance,
 but when you're also soaking in the ignorance of others.
That creates a layer of "Medieval filth" around your energy.
(You know, cause in Medieval times they only bathed like once a month,
 and when they did, they all used the same water).
Yeah it's an elaborate metaphor, 
But you get my point. 

You know I swear some people wake up in the morning just to impose their filth on everyone,
with the sole purpose of not learning anything new.
Those are the worst people.
They are right up there with the Party Poopers and the Energy Drainers alike.
But in some ways they are the ultimate fire extinguishers,
because they come at you sideways,
trying to "rectify" what you believe in,
 because they believe that their beliefs are "superior".

What people don't get is that once you deem your beliefs superior, 
you open up your whole world up to discrimination,
racism, homophobia, bitterness, arrogance, xenophobia - the works.
A splendid cocktail mix of every quality needed to make you,
a complete asshole,
and menace to society.
And do we really need more of those???

I don't know what could be worse,
to be ignorant in life
or to be ignorant in love?

I know the two energies kind of supersede each other in a way,
that's why i don't think that life and love are necessarily mutually exclusive.
Yes, they can exist separately but they do overlap,
which means, if you're ignorant in one of those spheres of your life,
you're most probably ignorant in the other too,
and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Everything in moderation is supposed to reap benefits without the detriment,
so with that in mind :

I think that in the cases of love and life,
it is important to regularly moderate yourself,
just in case some sneaky persuasive person,
comes in and injects a full dose ignorance in your energy while your guard is down,
and trust me, with all the available information we come across on a daily basis,
ignorance is easier to catch than the common cold in these streets.

Isn't it funny how life goes? I mean seriously, isn't it just so drop dead hilarious? Mma, you are the magic!

I can't use my heart to measure the volume of my love for you because it's not enough,  rather let me use the nerves that awaken all over my skin with a simple one of your hugs, Mom, thanks to you, I've always believed in magic, but when i grew up beside you, my beliefs materialized. WE'RE NOT HERE FOR THAT!

"The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak" - Hans Hofmann What we define as unnecessary is a reflection of our priorities, people claim to have a whole lot in common but when it comes priorities, it is scary to think that the same person who would put money before love is someone that you may find relatable with the omission of course,  of that little humanity defining fact.   We are always in a hurry to get to know each other,  i think it is because we want to get it out the way  so that we can make our judgement about the person,  and decide whether they get to participate in our lives or not.
